PVC coated fabrics for tarpaulins and banners
Tarpaulins and banners are made by multiple coatings PVC onto polyester and polyamide fabrics.
The working phases are the following:
Adhesion promoter coating on directly on the fabric (vertical coating unit)
Resins pre-drying (vertical dryer)
Coating on back side of the product
Drying and calendering
PVC coating on top side of the fabric
Polymer melting, calendering and cooling
Printing and protective lacquering
Black-out fabrics
Black Out shade fabrics are made coating different layers acrylic foams, with the following passages:
Resin coating
Acrylic foam coating on top of the superficial finish
Calendering
Inspection and winding
COS.T.A. specialization consists in making possible that all the passages are carried on continuously, with no multiple passages on the line.
Airbags
Airbag production is possible thanks to a coating on a structured fabric, carried out following precise parameters:
Support weight
After coat weight
Applied net quantity control, also on fabrics meant for OPWs and Side Curtains
Temperature curve and controlled ventilation
Fabric stabilization control
3.4 Self-adhesives and bi-adhesives
Adhesion lines for water-based glues to produce laminated self-adhesives with the following materials:
Paper / paper
Paper / film
Film / film
Paper / fabric
Impregnation for FIBREGLASS, CARBON FIBRE & KEVLAR
The manufacturing of impregnation lines for technical fibres implies a sequence of completely customised and dedicated passages, depending on how the fibre is inserted into the line and on the process following the impregnation.
Pre-Preg lines usually feature:
Unwinders
Combing machine
Stretching and alinement system
Impregnation
Calibration
Thermal stabilization
Hot Melt lamination
It is the lamination of different substrates to obtain:
Technical laminates for the automotive industry
Lamination of leathers and ennobling films
Linoleum and sound absorbing materials
Sportswear fabrics
